Danielle received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a major in journalism and a minor in Spanish studies. While in school, she studied abroad for a semester in Ecuador and interned at a government social service agency, el Patronato Provincial de la Prefectura de Imbabura. After studying and interning in Ecuador, Danielle decided she wanted to find a job where she could utilize her language skills and contribute to bettering the lives of people in her community. The following semester, she took a class on Latino immigration and discovered this was something she cared about and could potentially have an impact on. Danielle feels grateful to work at Contreras & Metelska, PA where she is constantly surrounded by kind and compassionate people working hard for people facing a difficult immigration system.
