Grace Hoffman is a Paralegal at Contreras & Metelska, PA. Grace works directly with clients and aids attorneys in gathering evidence, drafting affidavits, and preparing applications for immigration cases. Grace is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. Her interest in working with the immigrant community and immigration law stems from border awareness experiences that she participated in through BorderLinks in Tucson, Arizona and the Women’s Intercultural Center in New Mexico.
Grace speaks Spanish fluently. She lived in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala for four months, and studied in Alicante, Spain for one semester during her time at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She majored in Spanish and Global Studies and graduated in 2014. Grace has prior experience working as a Spanish-speaking Tenant Advocate with HOME Line, a non-profit housing law office. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Worker Program, a yearlong volunteer program where she worked as a Community Legal Education Assistant with MN Legal Services State Support. In her free time, Grace enjoys doing yoga, playing ultimate frisbee, tap dancing, and riding her biking.
