Ms. Irina K. Herrera is a Paralegal at Contreras and Metelska, PA, who works on a variety of immigration and criminal matters. She is dedicated to helping clients powerfully share their individual stories. Ms. Herrera assists clients and attorneys by drafting affidavits, gathering all the necessary evidence and preparing forms.
Ms. Herrera was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and grew up in Palatine, Illinois. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with concentrations in Law and Politics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Among other endeavors, as an undergraduate Ms. Herrera interned at the Minnesota State Capitol and was a member of the student government body of her college. Ms. Herrera is also a lifelong member of Sigma Lambda Gamma an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting our most vulnerable communities.
Ms. Herrera’s favorite part of working at Contreras and Metelska, PA is meeting individuals from all over the world and helping people improve their lives. In her free time, Ms. Herrera enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
