Nico is a law clerk at Contreras & Metelska, PA. Nico assists attorneys in representing individuals on a variety of immigration and criminal matters including asylum, removal proceedings, family-based petitions, adjustment of status, administrative appeals, bond redetermination requests, and motion practice. Nico assists on matters before the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Nico also assists in representing clients on criminal issues and has experience as a private investigator.
In addition to his law clerk duties at Contreras & Metelska, PA, Nico recently founded a Tiger Sanctuary in Montana that is currently seeking tax-exempt status from the IRS where he serves as the Board Chair and Treasurer of the organization. Nico also serves as the Secretary of Finance for the Professional Student Government organization at the University of Minnesota and oversees the organization’s $200,000 budget.
