Vanessa Milbradt is a Paralegal at Contreras & Metelska, PA who works on humanitarian and family immigration cases. She enjoys working directly with clients to gather evidence, draft affidavits, and prepare legal forms. Her interest in working with immigrant communities started with a college internship at a resettlement agency and further originates from her Italian-American identity.
Vanessa grew up in Chaska, MN and has Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and International Relations from Bethel University as well as an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate from North Hennepin Community College. She previously worked at another immigration firm focusing on employment-based cases. Vanessa was also an AmeriCorps*VISTA member after college, serving the former Refugee Employment and Housing Network. She was motivated to start her paralegal certificate program to continue to advocate for people navigating complex bureaucracy.
In her free time, Vanessa enjoys growing with her environmental and social justice-centered faith community, latin social dancing, traveling to new places, and learning new recipes.
